Hypnosis Professional Resources

It is best to avoid all online schools that offer hypnosis training unless they offer you live training sessions and include proctored exams and fulfill the minimum requirements of classroom hours and practicum work with one of the hypnosis professional societies.

Several accrediting professional bodies that require minimum standards in specialized hypnosis or hypnotherapy education to become certified as a hypnotist or hypnotherapist (C.Ht.) are also available to professional hypnotherapists.

Whether you are a lay person or healthcare professional, attend multiple certification courses, not just one, and not just a weekend seminar.  Outside of academic training, the field of hypnosis has a lot to offer, so don’t limit yourself to the academic world.  Having a mentor will also go a long way.
